1. Background and self introduction of Shri Swami Samartha - 
Shri Swami Samartha used to tell, �I am from a family of Yajurvedi Brahmin, my name is Narsimhabhan, my Gotra (Lineage) is Kashyap and my zodiac sign is Meen (Pisces). It was I alone who was born as Rama and Krishna. I am residing in all the holy places. Firstly I appeared out of Kadaliban -plantain forest near Srisailam (in present Andhra Pradesh). Later on I went on traveling and visited Kolakatta and other cities and moved through Bengal and had mother Kali's darshan. Thereafter walking along the banks of Ganges visited Haridwar and Kedareswar. From here I reached the banks of Godavari and deccan (Hyderabad). After a stay of few days I moved on to Mangalwedha and stayed there for several years. From here I went to Pandharpur and Begampur. Then went wandering to Mohol and Solapur. Then reached Akkalkot from Solapur. Since then I am in Akkalkot.�
